Sum Hing Carton Box Factory is one of the few local paper mills in Hong Kong. Its founder, Mr. Wu, prides himself on producing high quality carton boxes that not only embrace Hong Kong’s historical sentiment, but also bring superior quality to each and every one of our customers. In the 1960s, Hong Kong’s economy was growing rapidly and the manufacturing industry was booming. Mr. Wu’s father founded the Sum Hing Wooden Box Factory, specializing in the production of wooden boxes, which were mainly used to contain red wine. However, in the 70’s, the industrial environment of Hong Kong changed, and Mr. Wu and his father realized the changing market demand, so they decisively transformed the wooden box factory into a paper products factory. Sum Hing Carton Box Factory is one of the few local paper mills in Hong Kong. Originally, Sum Hing Carton Box Factory was not a carton box manufacturing company, but a transformation of Sum Hing Wooden Box Factory. In the 1960s, Hong Kong’s economy was growing rapidly and the manufacturing industry was booming. Mr. Wu’s father founded the Sum Hing Wooden Box Factory, specializing in the production of wooden boxes, which were mainly used to contain red wine. However, in the 70’s, the industrial environment of Hong Kong changed, and Mr. Wu and his father realized the changing market demand, so they decisively transformed the wooden box factory into a paper products factory.
